The DRIVEN calendar, “Soon”: Mocean Dance


January 22, TorontoThe self-described “versatile creation company” Mocean Dance returns to hometown Halifax (The Sir James Dunn Theatre, Dalhousie Arts Centre) for a three-night stint of a highly physical, brand-new show created by Montreal-based choreographer Estelle Clareton.

We could not run an image like the one above without pointing out that this is truly a case of poetry in motion; or if you prefer, Mocean.

‘Driving’ me insane? Cheap Trick’s “Dream Police” Tactical Vehicle


In a large albeit interesting stretch of the definition of “popular demand,” RealWheels Corporation has built a “dream” police car pardon me, “Dream Police” Tactical Vehicle to mark the 30th anniversary of Cheap Trick’s top-ten album and single of the same name. Well, except for the “Tactical Vehicle” part of said name.
