A brief visit to Marvel Comics’ digital site—where digital comics are, per Marvel’s slogan, “unlimited”—has brought me up to speed on international geography. The modern map, it seems, has been reduced to two countries: the US, and outside of the US. (Select one, please.)
Despite appearances to the contrary, I don’t really intend to make a mountain out of this relative molehill. We’ve likely cooked up some public gaffes here at DRIVEN online; and if we somehow actually haven’t, then give us time.
Still, I’m sure Spider-man himself would agree that Marvel’s, ahem, web heads should work on their diplomacy. There’s a big difference between a country and a territory, and no nation, however big or small, appreciates being marginalized.
Thumbs up for everyone getting along. So say your Canadian cousins.
