Forget what they say about fashion versus function

About six weeks ago, I was at a party at a friend’s house in London when, as things started to wind down, my friend went to the closet, pulled out a bulging stuff sack and said “You’re going to like this mate.”

He was right. I pulled out the odd article from the nylon sack and was confronted with a very strange objectthe Lippi Selk’bag.

Designed as a replacement to the typical sleeping bag, the Selk’bag won’t twist up on you, and allows you to move around more freely. Soon I was wearing it with a welding mask and pretending there had been a reactor leak, after several photo opportunities later and I had decided to use these bags in our upcoming photo shoot in New York City for the April issue of DRIVEN.

The bags are designed for light camping, and can make chilly mornings at the cabin or cottage a lot more bearable. And when it comes to just staying cozy while you lounge around the house, the range of available colours make the Selk’bag much more stylish than, say, a blanket with sleeves.
